Workplace conflict and the productivity of employees in the healthcare sector: A case study

The study aims at examining the impact of workplace conflict on employee productivity in healthcare industry. Workplace is a dysfunctional stressor that undermines endeavours, and performances any (Adewole & Adebola, 2010). While it adopted descriptive survey design for investigation, participants were 4541 comprising senior junior staff members from five selected Federal Health Institutions Enugu State, Nigeria (namely: University Teaching Hospital, National Orthopaedic Neuropsychiatric Hospital Enugu, Nigerian Army 82 Division Police Clinic). Using Freund Wilson’s formula (Freund Wilson, 1993), sample size 233 was calculated with 10 percent error margin population. A questionnaire set used to collect data, which analysed using regression analysis Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient (PPMCC). Findings indicated gender differences had substantial turnover, while growth leadership style found be linked. thus concludes has performance employees sector geography studied.
